Review on VICTOR PRODUCTS INC Suction Cup 🧭 Mini Compass: Reliable Navigation Aid for Outdoor Adventures by Chuck Hernandez

I saw a lot of reviews saying it didn't work before I bought it and I figured maybe these people just didn't know what this type of compass was supposed to be like work. I've had this compass in several cars so I'll be fine right? I thought $6 was a small risk. Sure enough, I've got mine, and it always says I'm going west, even when I'm heading straight for sunrise. No matter how I mount it (upside down, face up, sideways, at an angle, along the edge of the windshield, in the center of the windshield, on the dash. Even just walking with it), it always faces west. It doesn't stick, it floats, I can shake it, it spins. just always ends up doing what the West says. Which is actually scientifically confusing, so I'm not even sure how that's possible, but it definitely doesn't get the job done. $6 is not such a small risk when you realize you've lost and you've definitely lost $6 as there is NO REFUND on this product. Please rate this review as helpful to make it higher than all good reviews from 2015. Something has obviously happened at the manufacturer since then as the one I received in August 2018 is completely non-functional.
