Works very well and quietly. My office is quiet so I was worried it might make too much noise, but I left it on when I've moved away from my desk and can't hear it until I get back to my chair. In winter my office is very hot and dry, I had a sore throat almost every day, but after using this product I noticed a definite difference. Like I said, it's very hot in here and this mist feels really cool, so it's welcome in my environment, but I can see where it can be bothersome if you're already cold.
