I have African cichlids. I set it to 78° and checked the next day. It was 85°-86° so I now set it to the lowest setting of 70° and it stays at 79.5°-80°. I wouldn't have to do that if it works properly. It's terrible to ask me to send me a new model of this model. I read stories about whores in these reviews. I will not expose my fish to this. But it took me a week to get it up to that temperature. Not what to do. I could kill my fish trying to regulate the water temperature. When I bought it I had no money. Or I would spend more money and buy something more accurate. live and learn Other people have problems with it not working anymore. I haven't had this problem yet. At this point I will ask for a refund and something else.
