So, for starters, I'm a 28 year old female. For some reason I get stuck doing all the plumbing around the house and when someone rubbed the garbage chute with a rag my incinerator broke. The only minor issue I had was that it was a little difficult to attach the recycling itself to the brackets to keep it in place. My husband's help was needed because I just didn't have the strength to hold it in place and flip it at the same time. That's all. I really didn't need instructions considering I disassembled my old one and then realized I needed a new one. But they felt comfortable putting on a black rubber ring. run smoothly. Less noisy than the old one. So far no problems.
