Purchased this item on April 1st. Prophetic as it happened. There is nothing wrong with this product. They look beautiful and I really wanted to keep them. But I made a silly mistake while working on my latest build. I didn't have enough space to install a hard drive! I've known for years that CPU and cooler fans have gap issues due to tall ram fins with heat spreaders, but I didn't think other elements could conflict as well. Explain it with chalk. to the learning curve. In fact, I wish memory manufacturers would just stop this heatspreader trick. It's true that memory generates heat, and I assume that heavily overclocked memory needs additional cooling, but I realize this is mostly a fad. Are you old enough to remember tail fins on cars? I didn't want to take advantage of Revain's return policy by stating that the item was 'defective' in some way. But no, it was my fault. I printed the Revain return label and I have to pay $8 for the return shipping. Well that's what I need. The Corsair sticks look great with an anodized metallic blue finish. They also come in a clear plastic tray, which is handy. I only needed a quarter inch of extra clearance. Makes me mad. I know many of you are construction workers and I wanted to caution you against checking mounting clearances. I haven't checked, but it seems to me that memory manufacturers probably have measurement specs on their websites. I have to study it. I have reordered Crucial RAM sticks. They're a little flimsy compared to Corsair's joysticks, but they're only about 60% tall. It should be important. I hope my mistake helped others. PS I can't tell you the dimensions, I packed them up for return and didn't think about it in time. I am sorry.
