I am using a standard Pixel 5 with a fully updated version of Android 11 and today 23rd June 2021 I downloaded the app from the Google Play Store, app version 0.8.26. This app is poorly designed and implemented for Android in general. The right app would offer autocomplete for email, name, etc. The app does not integrate with cut and paste. It rarely worked. The app didn't offer to autocomplete my email address on detection when I typed it. The app does not integrate with the Google password manager. Prevents the password manager from suggesting a secure password when setting up an email account. The password change form used the suggested strong password by mistake. In some cases, the password input field automatically capitalized the first letter. I couldn't link it. There is no documentation on how to pair this device. In fact, the documentation omits the whole concept of pairing entirely. It doesn't happen by itself. A pairing code is not provided. When I finally gave up and tried to remove the device, it fell apart (see photo) and I had to pull the innards out of the connector. long message about Covid-19 causing shipping delays and was told to use live tech support chat without knowing how. I am returning the device.
