This is a great product that meets my needs! I combined the module with a PIR sensor to power the lights in my shed. My shed is solar powered so I used an old USB lighter as the power source. I just removed the USB plug and connected the power cables. The module has three screw terminals for the output. I connected 12VDC to the center pin and one side of the bulb to the screw farthest from the diode. The module expects a positive voltage; ideal as most PIR sensors output +3.3 VDC when triggered. This means a direct sensor line from the IR sensor to the relay. I bought another one for the dog coop and one for the outside tool area. For instructions on how to build these projects, see [.]
