I have purchased several smart dimmers and smart switches for various one and three position switches in my home. Installing a single switch is fairly easy, but three position switches require a little extra work. It is best to read and follow the printed instructions inside to install a 3 position switch, otherwise there is a risk that the smart switch/dimmer will only work when the other normal switch is on.
