This dimmer is a QUALITY device electrically equivalent to an expensive Lutron dimmer. Smooth on and off in 2 seconds. Quiet electric operation with no ringing or noise when accelerating, running or shutting down until shut off. Good mechanical shifting with minimal harsh sound by default; I'm returning a smart switch from another manufacturer that makes electrical noise and cheap mechanical noise. Nice Google Home setup with full Google Home operation. The missing Android software has been replaced on Google Play; He wasn't there the night before. The packaging says "installation time only 15 minutes"; IF YOU WERE NOT AT HOME THEY LAST MUCH LONGER. They include overly detailed instructions, but they're not that clear and this isn't a standard 3-position switch setup. You actually need to find which existing switch is closest to a light load by unplugging both switches and finding a 120V source. this is a bit difficult for most people. Replace the LIGHT SIDE switch and hope you have a neutral wire. Then you MUST redo the wiring on the other switch. Other negative feedback from other people that the dimmer doesn't work or only partially works is because they didn't install it properly; the wrong switch is replaced, or the wiring on the existing switch on the power source is not rewired, or the wiring on the light side smart switch is wrong, or the smart switch used to power 120V power does not have a neutral wire on the smart switch. Do not use the green ground wire instead of the neutral white wire to power the Smart Switch as you could electrocute someone in the house.
