Doesn't even work on 2.4GHz networks

Got my switch and installed it. The manual controls work perfectly. The blue light flashes like crazy. I'm trying to find it with my phone (Android) and tablet (iPad). Do not go. OK, sometimes it happens. Let's do the manual setup. Follow all the instructions in the app, don't leave it. Does not switch to manual tuning mode. I call their tech support who keeps pushing me to 2.4GHz (unaware he's talking to a 25+ year network veteran) and then says - you understand - the model probably has old firmware that does not support manual mode. but to update it to this firmware it must use automatic mode! He goes on to tell me that the problem is most likely with my router (it's not, my whole house only runs on 2.4GHz and I have at least a dozen manufacturers using it properly) and that the product will be returned should. They essentially shut down every chance of my business, which would have been at least 30 light switches, half a dozen outlets, and a few external plugs. I guess they just don't care. Shame as I'm moving away from Zwave devices because Samsung is starting to pull out of the smaartthings market and all the cheaper Wi-Fi switches are all "press the bottom button to turn the switch on or off", which is stupid and illogical. All my guests and my wife hate that the cheaper Kasa/Gosund switches don't have top or bottom buttons. My proposition? Jasco lowered the price and only got 802.11g radios instead of b/g/n radios because my whole house is 802.11n and n doesn't work like g. That, or they don't understand how to handle wide channels. In any case, this is the only WiFi device I've ever had that won't connect to my network. It's a piece of junk. Stay away.
