Review on πŸ’» Enhance Your Laptop Experience with the Artesa Metal Adjustable Riser Stand in Black by Evan Calvert

Decent product but know what you need and what you are looking for before you buy it. Good price

My home office could definitely use some upgrades. The situation has gradually improved over time, but there are a few things that still bother me, and one of them is related to the monitor settings. I don't have room for two "real" monitors, so my laptop, which I connected to the docking station, has to act as the second monitor. Unfortunately, its position was absolutely awful, not only because it was taking up space on my desk, but also because my laptop monitor is tiny compared to my massive main monitor, so jumping between them gave me all sorts of problems. I've researched various laptop costs for some time, but there was always something that didn't work for me - the setting was weird, weird slopes, took up too much space, was very expensive, etc. You get the point. This works very well for me. It doesn't have as many frills as others might have, but it's decent value for money and it's a solid item. This worked very well for my needs. I don't need any tilt on mine, just a few inches tall and it does and it's very stable for my laptop. The black metal frame also goes well with the rest of the hardware and looks very modern and neat. The metal frame is also perforated, which also promotes air circulation and prevents the devices from overheating. Overall, I really like this item and it meets my needs very well. However, there are a few minor annoyances that I had to give one star for. First, actually adjusting the height is impractical at best. This is mostly fine if you don't have anything on the stand, but if you try to set it up while the laptop is on, it won't work. Depending on your setup, moving your laptop around during setup may or may not make a huge difference. For me it's a pain in the ass. I'm also not a fan of 4 "legs" or pillars. If you don't have much space or need to place it near a corner of a table, perhaps at an angle, it may not work or be very stable. I would have preferred a flat base for a bit more positioning flexibility. At the price of many others I've looked at ($70+), this does a reasonably good job and is a more economical option if you just want a basic stand. I will definitely keep using it as it has greatly improved the ergonomics of my setup and I feel like it will definitely last a long time.
