The venturi port is useless, but the pump is powerful for a 75 gallon.

The Venturi will NOT work if the unit is 1" below the waterline as the previous reviewer wrote. Air bubbles are periodically ejected at the waterline, which is very annoying. powerful, quiet device. The venturi is useless to supply O2 to the water column.
