We live near the ocean so moisture resistant salt shakers are a must. I was hoping it would be due to the design and good reviews but that's a disappointment. Salt keeps accumulating and the holes are clogged every time. The plastic pins don't go all the way into the holes to prevent clogging. The coasters are attractive. Holding the lid open to shake it with one hand is a little awkward, but the real problem is that moisture gets into the salt. Unfortunately, I've been trying this for a month and now the return period has expired. Do not buy if you really live in a humid climate.
