Temporary lid lock required

This is amazing. I keep King Hawaiian Bread in it after we open the package and it stays fresh for weeks without mold or staleness. But if you take them without a seal, nothing will attach the lid to the base. Unscrewing the vacuum hose in the direction of the "open" valve releases and seals the vacuum. Also suitable for marinating meat. It sucks all the air out and the liquids go into these pockets and really seep into the flesh. Really great for that. I wish they had also made a long but narrow container. Something that can hold a baguette. Plus a temporary locking of the lid. Otherwise amazing product.
