I've been using Arduino and Raspberry Pi for 6-8 years now - not an expert, but not a beginner either. However, I had major problems with this board. Tried this first with an Arduino IoT SIM card (only allows communication with the Arduino IoT Cloud, not for SMS or voice to other phone numbers) and the tutorials aren't very clear. Once earned, burned half of the allowed data for the trial period, and then disconnected. Switched to Twilio Super SIM. A very limited online guide to connecting this board to the Twilio cloud. I can send text (commands) to Arduino but I can't send. Instead, try this Arduino Raspberry Pi 4 in a hat from Sixfab.
