WiFi doesn't work. There is no customer service. Very disappointed, had to return. TWICE.

I have an old model of this. Never had a problem. So I *was* a big fan. Not anymore. I bought a new one for my parents house. That's a catastrophe. It doesn't connect to WiFi. I called support. It went straight to voicemail. Multiple times. Which is a VERY bad sign. I went to their rather flimsy support page and tried everything there. No luck with any of the very few suggestions. I tried leaving them a message to call me back what their voicemail said. You didn't call back. EverSo I returned it for a new one, assuming I just received a bad unit. The new one has the exact same problem. So I called support. Literally over thirty times. (I wrote this entire review to contact them) He either switched to voicemail immediately or played the same music for a minute and then switched to voicemail. (Two minutes and ten seconds. I've called so many times that I finally timed it.) Their customer support team is clearly sorely understaffed, and I have to conclude that they're either getting a large volume of calls (which isn't good is) or they B. 1-3 people who have other jobs in the company besides answering or returning customer calls (also not good). At some point I called. Leticia started helping me. She told me that both the device and the phone with the app must be within 1.5 meters of the router. Which smells like bullshit to me, but I did it. But she assured me that her device was "unlike any other Wi-Fi device" and therefore a requirement. I almost got a headache rolling my eyes. Then when I had to find my Anova password and said it might take a minute, we got "cut off". I couldn't call anymore. DO NOT BUY THIS DEVICE. If you decide you MUST buy from a company that has proven they absolutely ignore their customers when it comes to customer service, just get Bluetooth. Wi-Fi wasn't working on either device I received and judging by the questions asked on this page, I'm clearly not the only one with this issue. I am very disappointed in Anova and if they don't fix this issue I will be returning this second device and not getting a new one. This company's crappy behavior has turned a once loyal and satisfied customer into a very unhappy and dissatisfied former customer.
