No sound but best clock

This is a beautiful clock, I got it as a birthday gift from a friend but it is now 3 days ago and it hasn't made any noise or music, we've read the instructions and feel like we've tried everything, don't know if it's broken or what but it still keeps up with the times and makes a slight ringing at 12 the pendulum keeps moving it just doesn't make a sound :/ the update was a few months ago but the box still doesn't make any noise and I can send everything back to get a replacement for the one that works? I bought this for my boyfriend, he loves watches but he doesn't have a Kucoo watch and I just bought this for the noises I want them to make.

This beautiful cuckoo clock is made of solid wood and measures approx. 29 x 16 x 29 cm (without pendulum)
