EDIT: I originally gave this 4/5 stars but within a month this thing burned out and nearly caught fire. I was a day past the return window but luckily the Revain rep I spoke to still let me return it after they figured out what happened. The blanket I had on my lap still had burn marks! It could be very dangerous! --- ORIGINAL REVIEW: I am very sensitive to smells, but my husband is not. He says the smell from the bag isn't very noticeable, but I think it's overwhelming. Very strong plastic/chemical smell hence deducting a star. However, fire works very well. It heats up in seconds and can get pretty hot. I'm hoping to put it under my desk in my home office because it's pretty cold there, but I believe it was used as a cat warmer instead. 🤷‍♀️ Cats bet 10/10.
