Review on πŸ”₯ Honeywell HeatGenius Ceramic Heater in Black: Effortless Multi-Directional Heating with Programmable Thermostat and Digital Controls by Tiffany Tucker

Revainrating 4 out of 5

With the right expectations, this heater is pretty good.

.What are those expectations you ask? Well, you have to sit next to him. It's great for one person, maybe two people seated right in front, or a large group in a small enclosed space. There are many ways to get this thing to suck in air and blow out a little warmer than it was. I'm not sure any of them, except one, matter that much. What I like is that the heated air exits over a larger area, so it doesn't feel like I'm getting a localized stream of hot air. The heater is pretty quiet so it doesn't bother me while I'm working and/or sleeping. One of the many settings we use the most is called "HeatPhase", where it starts out high and automatically decreases, finally turning off after a few hours. This is the most convenient and we can restart it if necessary with just a few keystrokes. Other settings that might be helpful to some are the ability to direct hot air to your feet for use under a table, an adjustable thermostat that only makes sense if you're in a small enough room, in which the entire room is heated by that thing, and a "Silent Mode" that turns that thing into a not-so-efficient heatsink. An annoying limitation: This doesn't work with a smart socket. . After turning it off, you need to press the "On" button to make it start again. Finally, this heater does not oscillate (rotate back and forth), which is normal. If that were all, it would mean that you wouldn't feel the warm air most of the time. I bought this heater to use in my garage and it's fine for that. If you have such an application, then it should suit you. If you need something more then maybe look elsewhere.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Obsolete model
