I bought these shoes specifically for my 2 year old son over the recommended size. The fit was as expected. Although the straps are larger than his legs, the straps make it easier to adjust as he grows. It only took him a few minutes to get used to it on the first try. He's been walking around in it ever since. They feel comfortable and durable, with a soft foam insole and a firmer but flexible outsole with very good traction. I love her, grandma loves her and so does he!
