I've been using this flashlight for a month now. Here's what I think.———PROS———It fits my 15 inch laptop and 27 inch monitor perfectly on a 6 inch desk. I have the light 2 feet above my work surface. As a task light, it illuminates a table surface of around 3 inches or 3.5 inches. The light also provides enough ambient light for the rest of the table surface, but isn't bright enough to be used as a significant light source for work. in case I want more ambient light in a dark room. I haven't had any issues with screen glare either and I don't find the light shining on my face when properly adjusted to my screen.———CONS———I wish the light was another 100-300 lumens brighter for one brighter workspace and more light spread to the edges of my admittedly large desktop. The touch controls can leave something to be desired, although it's not too much of a problem as I basically set them up and forgot about them during a work session. Recently, for unknown reasons, one of my two buttons stopped responding. After unplugging the flashlight overnight it seemed to "reboot" and worked fine the next day (see customer service note below). However, getting the touch controls to work properly on the first try can be clumsy to both change the temperature of the light and adjust the brightness of the light. shutting down or accidentally waking up my laptop from sleep mode); but that worries me less as my office is in a separate room of my house and no one can sleep and the LEDs should work for LONG anyway. However, this has happened to me very rarely and is easily remedied by turning off the lights at night as a precaution if you are concerned about this.———CUSTOMER SERVICE———If one of the touch buttons was not responding, I contacted the seller through Revain and thought I would need a replacement. As mentioned above, the next morning and before they could reply, the lights were working as expected again. However, the company was incredibly responsive and helpful. They were more than willing to send a new light if I wanted a replacement. Thinking it would be wasteful to get the lights working properly again, I decided against it. However, the company has gone out of its way to reassure me that based on these early concerns about flashlight performance, they are willing to make an exception to the rule if a similar issue arises later outside of the typical warranty period. Needless to say I have been happy with my experience and hope the light will serve you well for many years to come. ———YES / NO——— Will definitely buy this lamp again. Reliable value compared to other options available combined with 5 star customer service.
