I just got my adapter and plugged it into the back of my Xbox One and checked that the video and sound are working. I connect my Xbox to a computer monitor that doesn't have an HDMI input and use small computer speakers. So I'm not worried about the best video/audio quality. Although both are suitable for my specific needs. I was concerned about whether the form factor would fit in the HDMI output, which is next to the large power jack. I can report that it fits perfectly/reliably and has enough room for a VGA adapter to plug in and not damage the power connector. I can say that the form factor for it is solidly built. It also comes with an approximately 1 meter male to male 3.5mm audio cable (which I did not use in the photo).
