Works as if you were using native Sony lenses
I use this with my A7 II and it's a great solution for using Canon EF lenses on a Sony FF body. This increases the overall length of the EDF lens by approximately 2.5 cm. I use it with 16-35mm 2.8L, 50mm 1.8 and 85 1.8 lenses. Sony analogues are either too expensive or not that good. Okay, in many cases they're smaller and lighter, but EF lenses are a tried and true commodity, they're plentiful, sharp, and inexpensive. All lenses I've used have the MC11 auto focus very fast, AE works great and all EXIF data is included in the file. I highly recommend this adapter.
