Product is LONG-LASTING. I had my doubts based on several reviews. However, I was pleasantly surprised. It was also very easy to install. Another special feature is that there is the option of screwing or gluing for assembly. We chose an adhesive that holds VERY well. The magnet holds well. Depending on how you connect the magnet, the strength of the magnet will be determined. I was so impressed with the first pair that I bought another one. The results were the same. I would unreservedly recommend this product. It is well made and serves its purpose. I have to tug on a door slightly because the handle is pretty bold, but I don't mind at all.
