This does not work on a 2005 4WD Explorer, the intake manifold is too short.
led me to believe this would work for my 2005 Ford Explorer 4WD, the short suction tube on it does not allow for the right amount of transmission fluid you have to over fill to get enough fluid to fill the tube and if you drain the fluid as instructed to fill the sealed gearbox there will not be enough fluid left to reach the filter tube after the fluid has been drained back into the sump. Now you have more problems than when you started.
