I bought this with great enthusiasm to reduce the number of remote devices from a dozen or more to just one. I bought it a few months ago and just this week I finally finished the cave I built. Today I was very frustrated as I plugged it in and tried to connect to my devices: First there was a GE AC device but to no avail; Next came a HarborBreeze dimmable ceiling fan, but again it didn't work, next came my entire set of LED strips, of course it didn't work. Finally, I thought, I'll try my surround sound receiver (Sony) and it was connected to it; but then I found that the only functions I could control with this device were power and volume, that's it, there is no way to perform the most basic and necessary function of changing the input of the device. So I gave up and packed it up for a return. However, since I waited too long to try the device, I missed the Revain window to return it, so I'm stuck with this useless $42 e-junk. And remember that this is not due to user error or ignorance. I designed and built a 500 sq ft human cave with laundry room, bathroom and kitchen and did all the framing, panelling, plumbing, electrical and designed/built an elaborate entertainment system (5 game consoles to switch between). remote control, surround sound system, computer sound system, LED lights and rope lighting) as well as a powerful gaming PC.
