Poorly. Do not buy. This will kill your crabs.
If I could give 0 stars, I would. Unsuitable substrate for hermit crabs. Hermit crabs require a mix of play sand and Eco Earth (coir substrate) at a ratio of 5 parts sand to 1 part EE to properly burrow and skin. ALL types of paint are poisonous to hermits.
