Review on ๐Ÿ”ง Wooden Trick Set of 4 Mechanical Models by Tommy Abreu

Revainrating 2 out of 5

The product does not meet some of their requirements.

I put together a few of their larger products and found the following issues: CONNECT: Not really. Many tabs do not match slots. This requires the use of an exacto knife to cut the offending parts. NO GLUE REQUIRED: In cases like the above, glue is needed because the cutting process leaves a gap, so glue is needed to ensure a good bond. In some cases it is very difficult to "push out" very small parts (O-rings) without damaging them, so more glue is needed. BIRCH PLYWOOD: On several occasions I have put together a kit and found that it works only as advertised. After a few days I found that the parts were warped so it never worked again. NO TOOLS: To assemble one of my models I needed: An Exacto knife Needle nose pliers Strong scissors Glue Despite the above, I really enjoy building these models as it has been a challenge to work around these weeks for weeks since I work on them about 2 hours a day.
