Short answer: Two tech support reps - one from my ISP and one from Brother - both couldn't set up a wireless network connection on an Apple laptop Sierra or Mavericks. I have owned this printer for many years. Setting up a wireless network on a Mac for the first time was easy using the recommended method. Moved and called Brother for instructions as the manual instructions for wireless no longer worked. They emailed me with *easy* installation instructions and everything went fine. After I moved again, I spent hours on the phone with my ISP's tech support without successfully setting up my wireless network. Moved again and called my brother to see if I could get the same instructions that worked before. The tech support rep was extremely helpful as the warranty was long overdue but the wifi could not be set up. The WiFi works great and I will never buy a color printer again but forget about WiFi with this printer. :-/
