Review on 🚗 Upower 4-Inch Inlet Diesel Exhaust Muffler 7x24 Body: Straight Through Stainless Steel Resonator Muffler XS2772 by Brandon Bullard

Quiet, too loud. I usually learn a lot by reading FAQs and product reviews. This one isn't very good. I debated buying it until I checked and saw that the truck had a straight pipe where the muffler could go and figured it was more of an improvement than nothing. Anyway, for my truck I was wrong. Purposeful debate about it is strange. I read the answers to the questions and saw someone mention that the core includes something like a cheese sorter and you mount it so that the exhaust goes into the muffler wrapper. Makes sense until you see a muffler with holes that are flush and completely symmetrical. The name UPOWER is embossed on the case, but there is no directional arrow. If it looks symmetrical, it should be symmetrical. It is well made and matches the exhaust perfectly which would make it a 5 star product if it made any noticeable difference in truck volume at all. If someone had removed and installed the straight pipe without my knowledge, I would not have noticed. At idle the noise is the same. It could be a bit better under load. I suppose this probably works better with larger displacement engines? If you like a straight trumpet sound and just want to tone it down a bit, this might be the right option for you. If you want to warm up your truck without your neighbors complaining, keep looking.
