I read the Revain reviews BEFORE I bought this and quickly realized that the two main issues people had were that the probe holder was not included and that You need to calibrate it after each use. Well, the probe holder was in place and I didn't even realize it until I looked at it carefully and realized I had to unscrew it and carefully pull it out. When you take out the probe holder, there should be solution inside, so be careful. If there is no lid or solution when you remove the cap, the product is defective. I bought both the calibration solutions and the storage solution and was prepared when I started. I want you to know that this product SAVES my ass in that cheap old style "two-prong" PH meter I was shown at 9 PH and I almost hurt my plants with PH down nuts have. I used it tonight and it said I have 5.5 which is borderline too low! If you read the instructions and take your time, this item is PRICELESS! I STRONGLY RECOMMEND THIS TO ANY BEGINNERS, JUST DO YOUR RESEARCH AND FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS! LAUGH OUT LOUD
