Review on Hoover Deluxe FH50150 Certified Refurbished by Charles Barney

The car we received worked great for about 5 minutes and appeared to be the best car ever. However, the hand tool tube doesn't stay in place well and I have to stop and adjust it every time I move the car. This refurbished product isn't really worth the few bucks you save. I'll explain why. First, the repair will void the manufacturer's warranty. The seller I bought this from was Ace Electronics. Don't expect any help from this particular company, if a product has a problem they will send you to the manufacturer where you actually have no warranty. Their return policy is ridiculous, of course they make it so you don't have to return it, in fact you lose a significant amount of money repackaging this machine and towing it back where you pay for the label yourself. You will then also deduct the original shipping cost from the refund amount, along with a 15% restocking fee. If the item was damaged during shipping, you must contact the UPS agent and refuse the package or the claim will be void. Oh, and if the people who sent you the defective item think you "misreported" a defective item, they will charge you an additional fee (which is unspecified). Even new carpet cleaners are random, but at least there's a guarantee. I would refrain from purchasing this refurbished carpet machine from AceElectronix and be sure to check the return policy before purchasing.
