Great hat and coat. It is made from solid wood and then varnished in a very nice dark walnut colour. I was missing some threaded inserts into which the "branches" of the frame are screwed. I bought some 1/4"20 TPI brass threaded inserts at a hardware store and they screwed right in and are like new now. I used the bolt and two nuts method to install the threaded inserts. Search YouTube for Installing Wood Thread Metal Inserts for a video by Ronald Walters detailing the process I used a ratchet instead of a drill and it installed easily.
