No pre-drilled holes
As others have said, there are no pre-drilled holes in the bottom of the bottom shelf to screw in L-shaped pieces. However, the wooden dowels that come with the table hold the shelf securely, so a power tool unless you want to make sure it's very safe for pets, kids, etc. The table wobbles a bit and the handle feels cheap. The box is very smooth. All in all a nice table.
