Review on Arm & Hammer Plus OxiClean Clean Meadow - 70 Load Liquid Laundry Detergent, 122.5 Fl oz by Beny Teller

I like Arm & Hammer laundry soap because it's less harmful to the environment. I have always lived in Long Island, New York. They BANNED all detergents like Tide in about 1974 to protect underground aquifers. Detergent was ok, no chemical cleaning agents. I still live by it, even though I left New York in 2001. I also avoid scented products, soaps, shampoos, body washes, etc. because ALL THESE SMELLS ARE CHEMICAL! I don't understand why anyone would choose to buy those fragrances that you add to your laundry. You are polluting your body and home with chemicals that are intentionally active for 3 weeks. Everything you breathe in like sniffing glue goes straight into your brain INCLUDING CHEMICAL ODOR! I bought this during the Covid shortage so I don't usually buy it. I usually use both Oxy Clean alone and Arm & Hammer Laundry Soap, so I figured that would work. It smells as strong as a supermarket soap island, even though the bottles are sealed for shipping! wow ! I first put it on the floor in my pantry, along with other cleaning supplies. But after about an hour I took it to my bathroom. I have boxes of tea and other things that I don't want to smell like soap. Now my bathroom smells like a soap island! I even checked twice to make sure the caps weren't loose during shipping, haven't opened the bottles yet, wow! To me, adding such strong chemical flavors is incompatible with a more natural soap product, it doesn't make sense. It's like adding corn syrup to long-cooked oatmeal, etc. My tirade for today.
