There are no instructions with this product. I recently purchased a similar item from another seller to fix a broken Lexus key. This had a symmetrical key holder that slides the full length of the key, allowing it to be screwed into a keychain. This is asymmetrical and should only be installed in one direction. Well, of course I put it on the wrong way and couldn't take it off. I literally had to cut the plastic holder with a utility knife to free the key itself. Needless to say, I'm sending it back. Update: I got a new one and this time I made sure I moved the holder correctly. However, the part was not precisely machined, which prevented it from slipping the extra millimeter needed to properly position the screw for long-term attachment. However, I screwed in the small screw as best I could. The head of the screw could not be screwed in any deeper, fearing that the head of the screw would be stripped, causing the head to protrude slightly from the body. Everything collapsed within a month. I would stay away from this seller at all costs.
