My iPhone 6 Plus charging port has burned contacts on all my cables. I bought a wireless charging case and he destroyed it too. So I decided to try and fix it myself. It was an exact match to the original charging port and now my phone charges without burning any wires. Apple is notorious for not allowing you to use replacement parts, but I haven't had any issues with a phone failing. Please note that attempting this repair yourself will require moderate skill. The charging port is on the case itself, below all other components. You have to remove almost everything to get to it. There are plenty of guides online to replace this part, so just buy a good repair kit (bought from Revain for $12) and follow the instructions on iFixIt or YouTube. I bought this set and I can report that it is of good quality and comes with all the necessary tools. Repair Tools Screwdriver Set for iPhone/iPad/ipod/Other Cellphones and Devices - DIYTool (23pcs) (2309A-Small) A tip - KEEP THE SCREWS PER PIECE ORGANIZED. There are different types of screws and they all look pretty much the same. When you take them out, place them next to the item they belong to. Don't mix them together. Some screws seem to fit, only to find they are not fully tightened and almost impossible to loosen. I ended up having to buy a set of replacement screws because I was putting screws where they didn't fit and didn't have the right type when I got to the final parts. I also recommend not removing the screen as it is not necessary. to replace this part. Simply lean the screen against a surface and attach it. I removed my screen and had trouble putting it back on. When I charged my phone I was greeted with queues everywhere. I found that some of the pins were bent and luckily I was able to fix them. The lines disappeared over time and now my phone works great. I've noticed a few reviews of this charging port, and a few others that I've looked at have had people reporting their mic not working after replacing the charging port. I think this was due to user error, not a defective part. The microphone is a small square piece of metal on the end of the charging port, next to the headphone jack. There is a retaining clip that you need to keep from the old charging port that houses the microphone and protects from a very small hole in the phone's body. Make sure you keep this bracket as this replacement is not supplied. Also, be sure to remove the plastic wrap from the adhesive. If you plug a microphone into the hole I don't see why it shouldn't work for you.
