So I realized how important a "clean" sine wave inverter is. My old one was a "modified" sine wave. This new one does not compete for the maximum possible payload in my motorhome. I made a video about hum. I feed this inverter with a 2/0 wire and have a reserve capacity of 920. That's probably an overstatement, but I made my RV fully solar with this inverter. I hardwired it and the remote works fine. I had a question about the wiring (neutral and ground) but was answered quickly and comprehensively. My old inverter was also 5k/10k but had trouble working because it was a modified sine wave (be sure to look at that) and this inverter doesn't oscillate and runs much cooler. I can turn on the air conditioner (1175W) (the remote control shows the current and voltage consumed) and the microwave (1520W) at the same time, no problem. Amazing product. I tried it on torture some time ago and no problem. Head out to learn more about off-grid camping this weekend. I recommend, as well as lifetime tech support and 1 year warranty. A+
