Totally impressed by the look and the softness, but the embroidery quality doesn't impress me at all. As soon as I opened it, there was rope everywhere that needed to be cut and singed (to keep the stitching from unraveling). At one point the thread is also badly tied in the seam area. After paying $40 for just a duvet and two pillowcases I figured it would be a little better quality than I would get from a brand new bedding set that was slightly more expensive. But aside from the poor stitching quality that I need to work on, the fabric is very soft and the design didn't disappoint. The embroidery is the ONLY reason this isn't a 5 star rating, but if you know how to work with a needle and thread I definitely recommend it. Update: I've washed this duvet twice now and the fabric is quite frayed on one side. Washed on gentle cycle, dried on medium heat so I don't know what's up. It literally looks like someone walked over and ripped out the thread punch. Definitely waste of money.
