Review on πŸ”₯ Dorman 674 933 Integrated Catalytic Converter: Optimal Performance, Durability, and Hassle-Free Installation by Ryan Nguyen

I can't believe it was that easy.

UPDATE NOVEMBER 2018 and the part needs to be replaced again. Although I can't complain. Worked great for the price. I'll probably try a different brand. I used this on my 2007 Nissan Altima. The original cracked at the converter. I examined the original and couldn't find a crack, so I installed the original with new gaskets. I still had a leak. I found and ordered this one because I was pretty sure the distributor was the problem. I also ordered http://www.amazon.com/Walker-54782-Direct-Catalytic-Converter/dp/B008RYMT28/ref=sr_1_1?s=automotive&ie=UTF8&qid=1425323187&sr=1-1&keywords=Walker+54782+Ultra+. Direct+Fit+Catalytic+Converter I bought both not knowing which would be the problem but it was still cheaper than bringing it to the store. The Dorman manifold fits with no problems. The heat shield needed a bit of work as the screw holes weren't perfectly aligned. The heat shield is thin and easy to work with. Total time was maybe 3 hours. Also, I'm a fairly experienced mechanic and have had nightmare stories about working with exhaust systems. I live in the south so no amount of salt on the roads will help. I haven't had any issues with the original screws breaking or not wanting to come loose. I had to put some lube on the O2 sensors to get them out without damaging the threads.
