Review on 🚚 LAMPHUS SoundAlert Backup Alarm Beeper for Trucks - 112dB SAE J994 Class A - 12V to 48V DC - Reverse Back-Up Alarm for Heavy Equipment, Cars, and Vehicles by Michael Jameson

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I bought this reverse (backup) alarm for extra security.

I bought this reversing alarm (backup) to increase the security of a 2014 Dodge Ram 1500 4 seater with a 6ft (6ft) 6ft bed. I didn't want to mess around with drilling mounting holes. I bought (2) two magnet pots from a local store for (95) ninety five pounds each and attached them to (2) two mounting holes on this reversing alarm (backup). I mounted this reverse signal (backup) to the bottom (6 feet) of a six foot bed that was as high as I could reach. To ensure the speaker WILL NOT move while navigating Michigan's deteriorating road infrastructure, I attached a metal strap to the remaining (2) two mounting holes and bolted the strap securely to the truck bed. I put a scotch lock in the taillight (backup) on the right (passenger) side of my car. I wired a built in waterproof/permanent ATC blade fuse holder with (1) one 1 amp fuse as suggested in the installation guide. I ordered (1) 1-amp ATC fuses from AMAZON because none of the local auto parts stores sell (1) 1-amp fuses. (1) A backup alarm loud enough for non-commercial use. I just want to minimize and/or eliminate the danger/risk of accidentally reversing when someone is standing/walking behind or next to me, both adults and (especially children). *A NOTICE. I'll try to attach photos of the setup later.
