This fan is light, I hardly notice it's around my neck. It's absolutely perfect for the job. I work in a warehouse and move a lot! I pick things up and throw bags in containers and the fan doesn't bother me. It's very hot in my work building, so the breeze accompanies me wherever I go. I tell everyone at work to get one! I'm pretty sure I sold 3 more on my referrals lol. It charges fully overnight but stops after lunch, which is only 4 hours of use and I only use low speed. It has three speeds, which is great, but I'm trying to conserve battery power. Guess I'll have to bring my charger as one of the reviewers suggested. It comes with a short USB cable and a lemon scented thing. Warning: If you have shoulder-length hair, you should tie it up and away from the fan. I braid my hair successfully, but when I wore a ponytail it got tangled in the blades a few times. I had to wear a face mask, work in a hot tin building, do physical labor. This fan was my life. Savings at work! I highly recommend this neck fan!
