Review on 70 Perma Coil Thread Repair Kit by Doug Hook

I bought a Perma-Coil M6-1.0 mower repair kit. I drilled the holes (2) with the recommended bit size (1/4 inch) and tapped them with the included tap. After three attempts to insert the spool and none of them could screw into the holes, the insertion tool was worn out and could not dispose of the remaining spools and tools. I bought another kit - another brand (Fix-A-Thred) and recut the holes to clean the threads. First try and done! The fuel pump is installed and the tractor is ready to drive. - less than three minutes!
