Bought to replace a surge protector that blew during a lightning storm. I hope they work and protect my electronics just as well. They have a nice thick cord and a flatter plug to make them easier to place behind furniture. I really like them so far and the extra spacing between the outlets allows me to use all outlets when I need to. The USB ports are great for charging your phone and surfing through the night. I don't get a "slow charging" message like other USB ports. All in all a great purchase, I plan to buy several for the children's room and the living room.
