Now I can use my old but very working camcorder as a webcam. I have all the controls of a good video camera, such as exposure control, zoom, etc., all with a webcam. The sound is very good, as is the picture quality. All this with the camera I already have, cheaper than most webcams. I bought a new HDMI cable with a mini HDMI connector for the camera and a standard HDMI connector for this adapter. I recommend buying a thin, easy-to-manage cable. Highly recommended. The zoom feature provides a convenient placement for framing and eliminating distracting backgrounds. I zoom in a bit so the edges of my green screen are outside the frame.
