L-Methylfolate Prenatal

I chose this prenatal product because it contains methylfolate instead of synthetic folic acid. I recently discovered that I have 2 mutations in the MTHFR gene (complex heterozygosity?) which may mean I'm not processing/breaking down folic acid properly. Of course I want to make sure my growing child is getting all the vitamins they need which is why I bought it as it contains folic acid in a state my body can actually use. The doctor suggested that methylfolate might increase the benefits of taking my usual antidepressant *and reduce things like fatigue and pain that I've experienced in the past. This is definitely something I could use during pregnancy and motherhood. I hope so, but I've only taken it a few times so it's too early for me to say if it will make a difference for me. If it's life changing and I love it, I'll come back and give 5 stars.
