I have owned and used this camera for several years and have found both really good and really bad things about it. Most shots taken without zoom come out great, especially shots of people and still objects. The camera is slow to focus, so movement isn't a strong point, nor is zooming, which makes focusing particularly difficult. Lightweight and compact to carry, the camera has many settings to accommodate a variety of image types. The downside is that the adjustment knob is too easy to turn and is almost always in scan mode when you try to grab it and take a picture. I also had a lot of issues with how close the record and power buttons are. I lost a lot of pictures while waiting for the camera to turn on again. Battery and charger are great. Easy and fast charging, suitable for a large number of shots. I would suggest a second battery as a backup though. Downloading and receiving the app is terrible. If you don't have a specific cable when you're on the go; you don't download The app tells you, not you, what and where to upload your photos. It's not very useful for anything other than moving images. In general, the camera was fine. I generally had a good camera, but at the end of a walk, sand got into the lens and the camera became unusable. Would I buy it again? no
