A cautionary tale. I'm a professional photographer who bought this through Revain a few years ago - presumably a reliable way to make such a purchase. Recently part of the gasket seemed to fall out at the very top preventing that part from being tightened. I asked Sirui USA about a seal replacement but was told they would not help me because the Revain supplier I bought them from was not one of their 'approved' sellers unbeknownst to me. Inexplicably, not only do they not cover this under warranty, they didn't even sell me a cheap out-of-warranty plastic gasket. Unbelievable. This monopod was working fine until this issue arose, but I'm stunned by the lack of customer service. Goodbye Shirui, hello Manfrotto. Let the buyer be alert.
