My baby is 18 months, 32 inches, 26 lbs. He usually carries 12-18 pieces. and 18-24 pcs both sizes. I ordered 2T and they are the same length as the other 2T but definitely narrower. This fits my child who has a long torso and we measure size by length rather than width. If you have a small baby with a bump they might be tighter than expected and I've increased in size and rolled up the sleeves.
