Review on Aqueon QuietFlow E Internal Power Filter Large - Efficient Filtration for 40 Gallon Tanks by Jenn Arnold

I have a 2.5 gallon faucet and was trying to find a better filter than the one that came with the tank. I didn't like the air pump filter I tried in this tank, it didn't seem to do anything. I needed one with a motor and pump and actual flow. This works well for this tank. The opal floats around in the aquarium and is not thrown by the current or anything like that. also not sucked into the intake stream. I took off a star because I want to find a better way to hang this on the side of the tank. The suction cups leave it a little low in the tank so I have to compensate for that and keep the water level about an inch or so lower than I would prefer. but when I use a hook it sits too high above the water and I can't get the lid off. I may have to wrestle with other options. I've attached what tank I have, but I think if you have a regular square tank with a not-so-blunt lid, this will work better for you.
